Terms & Conditions

By scheduling service with Jay’s Clean Oil, LLC, the customer authorizes mobile vehicle maintenance services at the requested location.

 

Scope of Service
Jay’s Clean Oil, LLC provides mobile automotive preventative maintenance services including oil and filter changes, fluid top-offs, CleanPoint Quick Visual Checks, and minor maintenance component replacement when requested or approved (such as filters, hoses, belts, batteries, or similar service items).
The CleanPoint inspection is a courtesy, visual-only review and is not a diagnostic inspection, mechanical evaluation, or guarantee of vehicle condition. Any recommendations provided are based solely on visible conditions at the time of service.
Jay’s Clean Oil does not perform comprehensive mechanical diagnostics unless specifically agreed to in writing.



Pricing & Payment
Pricing for oil change services includes up to six (6) quarts of full synthetic oil and a premium oil filter unless otherwise stated. Additional oil capacity, specialty filters, or manufacturer-specific oil requirements (such as Euro-spec oils) may incur additional charges.
Final pricing will be confirmed before service begins. Payment is due upon completion unless otherwise agreed to in writing.



Oil Specifications
Jay’s Clean Oil uses full synthetic motor oils meeting commonly accepted manufacturer specifications. Customers must disclose any manufacturer-specific oil requirements prior to service.
By authorizing service, the customer approves the oil selected and any applicable surcharges required to meet manufacturer specifications.



Parts & Fluids
All oil, filters, and service parts are supplied by Jay’s Clean Oil to ensure quality and compatibility. Customer-supplied parts are not accepted unless agreed upon in writing. Customer supplied parts and fluids will not be warrantied by Jay's Clean Oil.
When servicing vehicle fluid systems, including engine oil or coolant systems, minor fluid loss may occur during removal or installation of components. Jay’s Clean Oil will refill or top off fluids as necessary for the service performed but does not perform full system flushes unless specifically quoted.
Fluid services do not guarantee the condition of related system components such as seals, hoses, gaskets, or fittings that may already be worn or deteriorated.



Scheduling & Arrival Window
Appointments include an approximate two-hour arrival window due to the mobile nature of the service. Delays may occur due to traffic, weather, prior appointments, or unexpected vehicle conditions.



Cancellations & No-Shows
Cancellations or rescheduling requests made with less than 24 hours’ notice, or failure to provide vehicle access at the scheduled appointment time, may result in a $30 service fee.



Customer Presence & Safety
For safety, customers, pets, and bystanders must maintain a reasonable distance from the work area during service.
Jay’s Clean Oil may pause or discontinue service if the work area is unsafe, obstructed, or presents environmental hazards.



Work Area & Environmental Conditions

Service is typically performed in residential driveways, parking lots, or other customer-provided areas. While reasonable precautions are taken to prevent spills or surface contact, customers acknowledge that minor fluid contact with pavement or work surfaces may occasionally occur as part of normal vehicle maintenance operations.
Jay’s Clean Oil is not responsible for pre-existing stains, surface deterioration, or conditions unrelated to the service performed.


 

Customer Responsibility

Customers confirm that:
• The vehicle is in a safe and accessible condition for service
• Accurate vehicle information has been provided
• All known mechanical issues relevant to the service have been disclosed
Jay’s Clean Oil is not responsible for delays or inability to complete service due to restricted access, unsafe conditions, incorrect vehicle information, or undisclosed mechanical issues.



Pre-Existing Vehicle Conditions
Many vehicles serviced may have age-related wear, corrosion, or previously repaired components. During normal service procedures, existing weaknesses such as brittle hoses, worn fittings, or previously damaged fasteners may become apparent or fail.
Jay’s Clean Oil is not responsible for failures resulting from pre-existing conditions or normal component deterioration discovered during or after service.



Post-Service Fluid Monitoring
After any service involving engine oil or coolant systems, customers are encouraged to monitor fluid levels and contact Jay’s Clean Oil promptly if any concerns arise. Vehicles with aging seals, worn components, or existing leaks may develop additional leaks after routine maintenance due to restored system pressure or disturbance of surrounding components.


Liability & Warranty
Services are performed based on visible access and standard maintenance procedures.
Jay’s Clean Oil is not responsible for pre-existing mechanical conditions, engine wear, fluid consumption issues, internal engine defects, or failures unrelated to the specific service performed.
Oil services are completed according to manufacturer specifications and accepted industry procedures. Jay’s Clean Oil is not responsible for engine damage or mechanical failure resulting from pre-existing engine conditions, prior low oil operation, improper maintenance history, or unrelated mechanical defects.
Workmanship is guaranteed to meet industry standards and is covered by a 30-day or 1,000-mile labor warranty, whichever occurs first. This warranty applies only to the specific work performed.
The warranty does not cover:
• Parts failure
• Pre-existing vehicle conditions
• Unrelated mechanical failures
• Repairs performed by third parties
Any warranty-related service must be performed by Jay’s Clean Oil, LLC.



Right to Refuse Service
Jay’s Clean Oil reserves the right to refuse or discontinue service if unsafe working conditions, incorrect vehicle information, incompatible modifications, or undisclosed issues are present.



Service Authorization
By clicking “Accept Quote,” scheduling service, or authorizing work, the customer acknowledges and agrees to the Terms & Conditions listed above, authorizes Jay’s Clean Oil, LLC to perform the approved service, and agrees to pay upon completion unless otherwise arranged in writing.

Privacy Policy

Jay’s Clean Oil, LLC respects your privacy. Information submitted through this website, including your name, phone number, email address, and service details, is used solely to respond to inquiries, schedule service, and communicate regarding your request.

We do not sell, trade, or share customer information with third parties for marketing purposes.

If you provide your phone number or email through our contact forms, you may be contacted by Jay’s Clean Oil, LLC regarding your service request. Message and data rates may apply for text messages depending on your mobile carrier.

Information collected through this website may be stored for business records, scheduling, and customer service purposes.
